Gryffindor Tower, located on the seventh floor of Hogwarts, is home to the fearsome and brave Gryffindor House. Established under Godric Gryffindor, it is currently headed by the ever-vigilant Minerva McGonagall. The inner sanctum is reminiscent of the gold and scarlet; along with plush couches and chairs, a Floo-accessible fireplace almost always lit and several grand tables. There are two staircases within which lead unto the girls and boys dormitories, in which there are seven sections for the individual years.
