Near the end of the high-street, this shop repairs all sorts of magical instruments. The shop front is no more than a cluttered workshop. Old and broken magical equipment is stacked at every turn.

A favourite place for wizards to shop. Selling more than just robes, Gladrags Wizardwear has stores not only in Hogsmeade but also London and Paris.

Located a block or so off High Street, the Hog's Head Inn has been a fixture of Hogsmeade for hundreds of years. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a wild boar's severed head leaking blood onto the white cloth around it. It's known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks down the street. The bartender for at least twenty years has been Albus's brother, Aberforth Dumbledore.

A sweetshop, owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, which is filled with shelves upon shelves of the most succulent sweets imaginable. In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge and chocolate. For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends.

A small, cramped tea shop with decor that falls on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located just off High Street. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples.

Housing at least three hundred owls, from Great Grays to tiny Scops ("Local Deliveries Only"), the post office is the place for those wishing to send word out. The owls sit on shelves that are color-coded, depending on how fast you want your letter to get to its destination. It is also referred to as an "owl office".

Recieves a lot of customers during Hogwarts weekends. Sells everything from basic quills and ink right through to fancy bird feathers and ink in every colour desirable.

A well-known inn and a frequent haunt of Hogwarts students. It's warm and comfortable and is a great spot to drink butterbeer, although they also serve firewhisky, gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella. The owner of the bar is Madame Rosmerta.

Zonko's is a favourite place for Hogwarts students to shop. They carry "jokes and tricks to fulfill even Fred's and George's wildest dreams," including Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, and Nose-Biting Teacups.

The Apothecary is a fascinating shop crammed with all sorts of interesting things. There are barrels of slimy stuff lined up on the floor and jars of all sorts of powders, herbs, and the like along the walls. Bundles of feathers, fangs, and claws hang from the ceiling. The whole place smells very bad, like a mixture of bad eggs and rotten cabbage. The name of this shop in the films is Slug & Jiggers Apothecary.

This shop, the closest one to the entrance from the alley behind the Leaky Cauldron, sells all sorts of cauldrons. Outside the shop, a stack of them shines in the sun, under a sign that reads listing all the types of cauldrons they sell.

The headquarters of the Daily Prophet are located in Diagon Alley, and, as the newspaper instructs, letters to the editor should be sent here by owl.

A dimly lit shop which, according to the sign, sells tawny, screech, barn, brown, and snowy owls. The walls are lined with napping owls, hooting softly. You can also by owl treats, cages and everything needed for owl care.

A favourite for young and old. Serving ice-cream for generations. You can find the usual flavours like chocolate and strawberry but also unusual like Blood Sorbet and Roach-berry fudge.

A large wizarding bookshop filled with shelves stacked to the ceiling, Flourish & Blotts is the primary - and perhaps only - supplier of textbooks for Hogwarts, though of course that's far from all they sell. The shop holds occasional book-signings from well-known wizard authors.

This shop, a favorite of Fred and George, sells a wide variety of tricks and practical joke items. The twins bought Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks.

Partway down Diagon Alley, near its intersection with Knockturn Alley, stands an imposing snow-white marble building: Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Towering over the other shops, it is the place where British witches and wizards store their money and other valuables, in vaults miles below ground. The vaults are heavily guarded - as Hagrid says, "yeh'd be mad teh try an' rob it".

Though far from the only wizarding clothier around, Madam Malkin's seems to be the best, as it is the place where most Hogwarts students purchase their robes. Madam Malkin herself is a friendly, squat witch. The shop is located next door to Flourish & Blotts, and in addition to selling Hogwarts school robes, they also sell robes which are "spangled, self-ironing, beautifying, slimming, fattening, lengthening," and "temperature-adjusting" and they carry robes made by Whopperwear "for the outsize witch or wizard." A later advertisement states that every robe sold at the store is "self-ironing and repairing" as well.

A company that helps witches remove "warts and worse," and that recently advertised for Junior Potion mixer in the Daily Prophet.

A very crowded pet store, noisy with the sounds of all the animals, where Hermione bought Crookshanks. The proprietor is a witch who wears heavy black spectacles. She offers advice and sells things like rat tonic. Other creatures for sale include enormous purple toads, gigantic tortoises with jewel-encrusted shell, poisonous orange snails, a fat white rabbit that changed into a top hat, and cats of every color.

"Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C," Ollivander's is a narrow and shabby little shop with a window display consisting of a single wand resting on a faded purple cushion. Inside the walls are lined floor to ceiling with thousands of narrow boxes, which Mr. Ollivander chooses from when trying to find a wand to match each customer.

A rather popular shop around the sports crowd, it sells a range of brooms and Quidditch balls. It also sells Quidditch robes and various team paraphernalia.

Located at 59 Diagon Alley, Terrortours advertises that they offer "action holidays for the wizard family with a sense of adventure!" Some of their tours include: Transylvanian castles for rent, with the host a guaranteed vampire a trip down the "Zombie Trail" where you can come "face to face with the living dead," a cruise through the Bermuda Triangle where you'll see the remains of ships that "didn't spot the monster." The small print at the bottom of the ad warns that "Terrortours accepts no responsibility for death or injury."

The Seventh Floor is the highest of the many floors within the Hogwarts castle; a staple to a grandeur and beautiful view. There are several large windows adorned in this vestige to gaze out unto the forest, lake and mountains beyond. This floor is also home to the Divinations classroom, the Room of Requirement and several corridors.

The sixth floor is more of the same; long hallways with unused classrooms, bathrooms and lookout points where people can gaze upon the countryside and the ground from the high vantage point. There is a passageway leading from the bathrooms to a staircase for the seventh floor.

In the same vain as many other areas of Hogwarts, the fifth floor is a very much associated to that which is held within. It is a mentally taxing area, as it is home to the transfiguration classroom; notorious for being the downfall to many a student. It is also home to the prefect bathroom.

The fourth floor is a rather lofty section of the school where out-door's passageways offer some refreshing fresh air which is solemnly missed by the rest of the school. The fourth floor is most notably home to the library and the Mirror of Erised room.

The third floor is one of the more show-y portions of the school's overall appearances. It boasts within the trophy room and armor gallery several of the many accomplishments students have made whilst attending the school. It is home to a secret Hogsmeade passageway, the new hospital wing, a secret corridor and the charms classroom.

The second floor is mainly a floor for travelling, in that not many classes are scheduled here and that it leads to many of the other parts of the building one would need to get to. It is home to moaning myrtle's bathroom and defense against the dark arts teacher's office.

The first floor of the famous Hogwarts School. With passageways complimented by many benches and multitudes of classrooms, both used and unused, it has plenty of space for students to catch a breath between periods. This floor is home to a muggle studies classroom, the defense against the dark arts, history of magic, and the hospital wing.

The Ground Floor of Hogwarts, where the new admittance are first introduced to the grandeur this is the Hogwarts experience. It houses the magnificent Great and Entrance halls, where many activities within the school take place.

The grounds of Hogwarts promise to allow the student population ample space to explore their surroundings in a 'safe' environment. As long as you stay far away from the forbidden forest. This section of the school is home to the lake, the Quidditch stadium and the Care of Magical Creatures Class.

The bustling city has no shortage of houses available for all sorts of characters. Some may choose to live in the sprawling urban areas while others choose to settle quietly in the suburbs surrounding the main city.

The various districts of England each offer their own locals flavours for their residents. Those who wish a more isolated existence can settle in the countryside while those who love the ocean and settle in one of many coastal towns.

Muggle London is one of the largest cities within Britain and the capital of the country. Several of the muggle-born students of Hogwarts reside in this city.

Though a Muggle village, Godric's Hollow has a storied wizarding history. For over a thousand years it has been home to notable wizards and witches, and has been most famous as the birthplace of Hogwarts founder Godric Gryffindor. More recently, however, it has become renowned instead as the site of Voldemort's first downfall. It is also the scene the trio and friends sought out when they changed the course of time.

To the muggle eye, it is just a marshy wet lands, however to those in the know, it is a rather popular Quidditch Pitch, where a lot of games take place.

Affectionately named 'N.S.M.B zoo', the wild-life reserve is is a large compound, housing most, if not every, beast mentioned in the name sake's popular book. Each species is housed in an enclosure landscaped to resemble the natural habitat. Good thing for all the anti-muggle charms, or the locals that live near the forest in which it is hidden may start to worry about the strange and wonderful noises..
