update 002. Hello kittens! Yes, another update so soon. But I felt that it was necessary, so here we go. First of all, I’m so excited that the site has picked up popularity… this site is really important to Nikki and I; we’re truly glad to have you all here. Thing have been going great and we find it really exciting. Now, on to a few points.

1. When you have a question for the admins, please write one or both of us a PM instead of writing it in the IC. If by some chance neither of us see it, you have a better chance of it being answered, or it being answered more swiftly, if you do that. Plus, it just makes us feel good to get messages. c:

2. Unfortunately, Nikki and I are going though a rather busy time right now. I am getting ready for midterms, and Nikki is assisting in directing a play! We hate that it has to be this way, but to be honest we won’t be on as much as we’d like to be. We’ll be doing the best we can to keep up with everything, and we’ll certainly be checking in on things every day as usual. But we need some help. So if you haven’t already, please look at our mod request and consider applying. But don’t worry too much! We’ll this site means too much to us to let it die, and we’ll be back to normal before you know it.

3. Speaking of activity, we would love to see things pick up a bit on the site. It’s dandy to write applications and work on plots, but what’s really important is the Roleplaying! So don’t be shy—get out there and start threading! Also, before any members create a second character, Nikki and I need to see that you can keep one character active, so keep that in mind before creating a second (or third, etc.) character.

4.Lastly, I’d like to address character balance. We’ve had a lot of characters being in the same house/age range, and if things keep up, a ban may be lurking around the corner. We won’t go there yet, but to avoid it, please keep this in mind:

As of right now, houses are fairly even, but Slytherins are gaining popularity quick. Please try to keep the houses balanced.

We could really use more Hogwarts age students! Our three Hogwarts kids are very lonely! Seriously, it’s a lot of fun. I highly encourage people to not only make a student, but to request their friends both on here and on resource sites like Caution. This will only help our site grow!

But, if you must make an adult, please keep in mind that not everyone is in the Trio’s year. There are many canons (and you can make originals!) that are older. Older characters are important and interesting—think outside of the box!
