--- ELITIST ;; "You’ll soon find out that some wizarding families are much better than others, Potter. You don’t want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there." Being raised into a pureblood family, the product of Narcissa Black's goodlooks and Lucius's mannerisms, Draco has always been something of an elitest. He was born to be prideful and see muggleborns as second class citizens with no rights. His treatment of his house elf Dobby displays this trait significantly. His first interactions with Mr. Potter clearly show his style of judgement. Draco suggests that some wizarding families are better than others, and that they should not let the other sort into Hogwarts. He suggests if he were in any house but Slytherin he would drop out from Hogwarts. He's derisive to blood traitors, muggles, and mudbloods who he believes to be foul. If he were not raised this way he would not be able to last as a deatheaters son. Draco exemplifies a facist elitest behavior not only by his treatment of others but by his body language and his bullying nature. He constantly boasts of his wealth and his ability to have whatever he likes. Draco is rarely seen in anything but the best. He wished to go to Durmstrang other then Hogwarts due to the fact Albus is a muggle loving fool in his eyes. Draco's elitest behavior is much of that of being the wizarding version of the aryan race. With blonde hair, blue grey eyes, it's much suggested he's exactly what one would look for in the perfect wizard, his mannerisms and behavior suggests this trait dramatically.
--- FAMILY-ORIENTED ;; "I haven’t got any options! I’ve got to do it! He’ll kill me! He’ll kill my whole family!" More often then not, most see the Malfoys as an unloving family but this is far from the case. Draco is very family-orientated and takes great pride in his family. Any comments about his mother or father provoke him into violence as evidenced with his many arguements with the Golden Trio. Draco's love for his family shows often in the sixth book as he tells Dumbledore that he must kill him or the Dark Lord will kill his parents, which he cannot let happen. Draco also shows a loyalty to his father to such a degree that he takes the mark himself. Draco is nothing if not completely devoted to his family and the lives they have chosen for each other. Draco becomes a desperate man when his family gets involved in the war, and this shows even further in the last book with the mad rush of the Malfoys trying to be reunited with each other during their disillusioned behavior towards the dark lord at the beginning of the end of the war.
---APATHETIC ;; "You don't know what I'm capable of, you don't know what I've done!" Being a deatheater's son, you have to be apathetic to a degree, and young to old Draco seems to have taken this to heart. He has to survive in his father's world where you have to shut down emotion in order to do the tasks you must perform. Draco has it harder off then most, because being a slytherin evil is just supposed to be in all fun, he has actually has to step into the world and do the unspeakable. He doesn't seem to care during the books about Potter's fate and even goes as far to say he hopes Granger dies. He constantly makes comments about people's deaths in an indifferent manner nor does he raise his goblet in memory of Diggory. Draco has to survive in a tough world and so even though he has emotions and has cried in bathrooms, to the outside world he displays a facade of apathy in order for survival of the fittest to occur.
DRACO'S patronus is a ;; Ferret (not mentioned in the books, the only reference to any sort of animal is a ferret, which could be a possible reference to his future patronus).
DRACO'S boggart takes the form of ;; His Parent's Deaths (Once again his boggart is not mentioned however if we are to go by the sixth book, it is possible it could be the death of his mother and father).
DRACO adores ;; Quidditch, Potions, Snakes, Dueling, Purebloods, Slytherin House, Wealth, Professor Snape, His Mother, His Father, Crabbe and Goyle, his Wand.
NAME abhors ;; Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, His Aunt Andromeda, Granger, Longbottom, Potter, Weasleys, Blood Traitors, Mudbloods, lower classes, Muggle Studies, House-Elves, "Servant Stuff", Hagrid and Dumbledore.
Draco Malfoy was always the protagonist even from the very beginning. His first appearance in Madame Malkins, clearly shows he's a prat, a bully, and prejudice. Draco was Malfoy Senior in miniature. Enemies with the Golden Trio, his first year at Hogwarts he made their life a living hell. Draco went out of his way to get the Gryffindors in trouble, most of his attempts unsuccessful. His second year is not much better, his behavior and arrogance immediately set him up as everyone's ideal of Slytherin's heir. He quickly buys his way onto the Quidditch team as Seeker with Nimbus 2001s.
His role second year, is primarily a diversion from the real Heir, and it is through him we finally see into the Slytherin Common Room, as Harry and Ron take Polyjuice Potion in order to see if he's the Heir. He even duels Potter with serpensortia, and provokes Harry into showing he's a parselmouth to the whole school. He calls Hermione a mudblood leading to Ron eating slugs as well.
His third year he's responsible for trying to get Hagrid sacked, and lying about Buckbeak's injury to have the poor creature executed. He teases Harry about his dementor issues, and causes due to his apathetic view on life for Hermione to slap him across the face, even goading Harry into going after Black.
His fourth year starts off with the World Cup and an interesting interaction in the topbox and the woods. He makes several comments about Hermione getting dangled in the air, and his comments about her are a bit strange, somewhat like a warning and insult at the same time. He creates a support Cedric Diggory fanclub, lies to Rita Skeeter, the infamous Ferret transformation occurs, and he goads Harry about choosing the wrong side when the Dark Lord returns.
His fifth year, Draco becomes increasingly irritating becoming a prefect, and making fun of Weasley and Harry's parents, getting them banned from Quidditch. He makes a horrific yet funny song called Weasley is our King in order to harrass Ron, the new keeper. He catches Harry when he becomes a member of the Inquistorial Squad, and ruins Harry's secret defence club. He later attacks Harry for getting his father arrested but is interrupted by the returning McGonagall.
Draco's sixth year is marked with discord, as Draco becomes the latest deatheater. He breaks Potter's nose and spends the whole year trying to kill Dumbledore to restore his family's honor. Harry suspects him the whole year, and Draco will forever have scars from Harry's sectumsempra curse. Draco succeeds in his task and brings Deatheaters into the school. He cannot kill Dumbledore due to an internal struggle and Snape steps in and kills the Headmaster and the two flee Hogwarts.
In his final year, the fullblown battle is raging but Draco appears to be disillusioned and does not neccesarily provide the correct information when the Golden Trio is captured. Draco later on makes up for this by trying to capture Potter himself to fix his family's place among the deatheaters. In the end Draco and his family end up in the great hall unsure of whether they ought to be there or not.
After the War, Draco and his family avoid imprisonment by their last minute change in loyalty. Off to an uncertain future, Draco seems to have regretted his time as a deatheater, and becomes a "bit" more civil. His focus is mostly on choosing a career path, and focusing on stepping up to the plate of being heir. He begins his search for a suitable wife to carry on the Malfoy name, and begins politicking as he takes his wizengamot seat, working within the ministry with an exchange of wealth to earn favor. It's life as usual, but for Draco he will always have to deal with the scars of war, and his life as an ex-deatheater.
Draco Lucius Malfoy, the self-proclaimed King of Slytherin was going for a stroll around the common room like any other day. But little did everyone know just what Malfoy was up to. He was plotting, he was distraught, unsure, scared, many emotions of which he buried deep down inside. Draco had a task to complete his parents lives on the line. He had to kill Dumbledore. He had never killed a man before and he wasn't sure he could. He was not completely heartless. He however had no choice, the path was chosen for him. He would act in his father's stead and bring glory back to the Malfoy name, and Severus had usurped his father's position. If he succeeded his father would be the dark lord's right hand man again, and his family would be honored above others. He was far from unintelligent but even he had his limits, his task seemed impossible. The mead, the opal necklace, neither ploy had worked, and lives had almost been lost. But of course, Saint Potter was there to save the day as always. Saint Potter, the weasel and the mudblood, constantly foiling his plans at every turn. They would someday get what was due to them, but quite unnecessary for the mean time. No, now he had to focus on the task at hand. He looked up from his pondering as he walked from the common room down the corridor. He checked and looked at the two girls beside him.
"Crabbe Goyle, remember drop the scales if anyone comes down the corridor suscipiously Potter seems to be up to something. I do not trust him. This must be done in secret. Snapes already trying to take the credit for himself, this is my job. I don't need him snooping around like some pathetic Gryffindor, no doubt Dumbledore's put him up to it, I spect he might not even be sure where his loyalties lie."
Draco scoffed at this and went into the room, making sure he could not be found. He began his task. He hoisted up the vanishing cabinet from the ground. If reparo would not be of used to him how was he expected to get this set repaired. He would not do it the muggle way, those were practices far beneath him, magic surely would be the better way. He took a bite from his green apple before placing it in the vanishing cabinet and waiting. He opened the cabinet, the apple was exploded. He sighed, this would take longer surely then he thought.
Hey ya, I'm Candice. I'll be twenty in december, and I've been been role playing for 12+ years, from phones to webpages to proboards, to myspaces, to any account I could. I also write fanfictions. I found LMCI through Dodi, who happens to be my best friend in real life. She said to post this after the activity check was over, so here I am posting. My favorite Harry Potter is Half-Blood Prince, I love Draco's part, it shows he's human.[/**justify]
