Draco was in an excellent mood. It was June the 9th, meaning it was his 20th birthday. He had invited a lot of people and had rented The Three Broomsticks especially for this occasion. He had a lot of money, he knew that and he wanted to spend some of them on this party. It wasn't every day you would turn 20. Draco had never been too high on formal parties, so this was all pretty casual. He had paid the waiters and waitresses to make it look perfect. And he thought it did look quite awesome. Right now he was still at home, showering. He just took a quick shower and then headed in to his bedroom where he found some casual, yet nice clothes to wear.
Draco was happy. It was supposed to be a good night and he knew it would be. He was going to meet Daphne's younger sister for the first time in years and actually talk to her. Astoria seemed different from her sister, but nevertheless, she was a Greengrass so Draco guessed she was pretty awesome. Draco took his clothes on and apparated directly to The Three Broomsticks. He looked around and found it great. He smiled bright to a waiter, right when a very hot waiter came walking with a tray with a lot of glass on it. She was younger than him he could tell. But only a year or two.
Draco smirked looking at the buffet table. People were supposed to eat at the party and then party all night long. He was happy, even though he didn't knew exactly how many people would show up. Draco felt prepared and he had been at home with his parents in the morning. They had congratulated him and given him a present. Draco had thanked them and left them. Today was not the day to worry about your parents.
The party was all ready for the guests to come and some music had been turned on. Draco was pumped and very ready. He heard the door open and looked around to see who it was. A great smile crept upon his lips as he saw who it was. That made him happy to see...

when the devil wants to dance with you ,YOU BETTER SAY NEVER because a dance with the devil might last you forever - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Today was the day of Mr. Draco Malfoy's party. An old friend, actually. Lyra smiled to herself in the mirror while adjusting her dress. It was a gorgeous short dress with only one shoulder. Lyra complimented herself in her taste in fashion. The girl gave a small pose in the mirror before smirking to herself. Grabbing her clutch and the small present which she had carefully just found lying around in her closets[/c] selected and out the door she went. The girl's heels, clicked as she walked a bit before preforming the Apparition to the three broomsticks. Smoothing out her hair and her dress, she entered into the shop a smile on her lovely red lips. Those blue eyes looked at Draco with such interest. Lyra was definitely going to write about this little event in her article. Lyra knew Draco as an old friend. Of course, they had many...flings together, yet they were still friends. He was quite a handsome fellow, Lyra had admitted to herself once, but that didn't mean that she loved him. Oh no. He was just good looking. Her eye-candy. That was it.
She approached him with the smile and cheerfully greeted, Ah, Draco! It's been all too long! She gave him a warm hug and a light kiss on the cheek. Pulling back, she presented the small red box with the pretty light red bow on top. She smiled all too sweetly while she told him. Ta-da! Your present. Ah. Don't open it yet! Save it for later. she smiled at him while warning him with a finger at the top of the box, as if scolding him. She was teasing the boy and she really didn't care (give a damn) if he did open the box or not. She just knew that the box held some yummy chocolates in there. Her eyes then scanned the area while her blue eyes landed on the table. Oh, how wonderful. Absolutely delightful. There was a buffet set up for them. Of course, Lyra was polite enough to not go over their immediately. Rather, she stayed close to Draco. At a distance, of course. She didn't want people getting the wrong idea that she and him were seeing each other. Oh, no. That would be scandalous. Afterall, wasn't he with Daphne or something?
So, dearest Draco. How does it feel to be twenty now? It felt like only yesterday we were back at Hogwarts, didn't it? she gave a small little laugh at the end, feeling at ease with the conversation.

Astoria stood in front of the mirror. It was a place that she spent a lot of time, but it wasn’t necessarily vanity that caused the long stretches of staring at herself. In fact, the young woman rarely thought about whether or not she was beautiful—it wasn’t like boys were flocking to her or anything. Instead, Astoria stood in front of the mirror evaluating herself. Checking for controllable flaws, or the appropriateness of her appearance for any upcoming event. Currently, Astoria was preparing for Draco’s twentieth birthday party. She’d changed dresses upwards of seven times, fretting over what was too fancy and what was too casual. Her critical eye roaming over her frame, Astoria picked her wand up and ran the tip down a singular wrinkle on her dress. Immediately is smoothed itself, bringing a small smile to the girl’s rosebud lips.
Next was a look-over of her hair and makeup—was her hair shiny and soft? Every strand was in place, kept down in the romantic, full waves that Astoria preferred. Her makeup was simple but perfect—it’s features were the heavy top line of eyeliner, winged out in a nod to vintage style, and rosy cheeks. While her gray dress threatened to wash her out, the pink accessories she paired it with fought this attempt and balanced things out. All in all, the little Slytherin looked perfect—everything was ready and yet her nerves were not settled. The butterflies fluttering in Astoria’s stomach hinted at the anxiety she was refusing to address, but this party was extremely important to her. Being invited was milestone in her adolescence, after all. She was being welcomed into the society that consisted not of her peers, but of the society above her. Sure; Draco was only two years older than her. But his group—her sister’s group—consisted of adults, people living in the real world. It was a group she had always felt separated from and who had always seems entirely uninterested in the littlest Greengrass.
Astoria frowned at herself, silently reprimanding, stop over-thinking it; just go to the party. Be mature, be fun, be interesting. Turning away from the glass before she could get sucked back into her fears, the teen practically floated down the stairs and out of the Greengrass Manor. Her mother was busy with her girls—she knew that Astoria was going out, so Astoria didn’t feel it necessary to distract her with a goodbye. Picking up the flawlessly wrapped present lying on the kitchen table, she headed outside and apparated as soon as she was outside of the protective boarders. Taking a second to make sure (once again) that everything was in place, Astoria finally put on a sweet smile, made a note to push her shoulders back and keep her chin up, and walked into the bar with an air of utter confidence. Immediately, she noticed that she was one of the first people at the party, besides (happily) Lyra. Astoria became suddenly overcome with shyness, her burst of confidence evaporating only seconds upon strutting through the door. Smiling and walking forward slowly, Astoria waited for Lyra and Draco to finish their conversation before approaching.
Don’t be awkward, don’t be awkward, PLEASE don’t be awkward Giving a small smile, Astoria turned to Lyra first, giving the older girl a quick but heartfelt hug, along with a fluttering kiss on each cheek. “hello my darling, how are you?” Turning her wide eyes to Draco, the young woman felt an unexpected lurch in her stomach. Unsure of whether or not a hug was appropriate, she leaned in to kiss him on each cheek. Leaning back, Astoria gave the taller man a large grin. “Happy Birthday! Thank you so much for inviting me, it’s truly an honor. Here is your present, I hope you find it to your liking.” She knew that he probably wouldn’t open it right away, which was a relief. She didn’t particularly want to see his reaction.
