UPDATE 004. I’m sure you were all expecting an update, as the activity check is finally over! It was a long process, but now we’re rid of all our inactive accounts, and we can start welcoming in new members to the site! We lost a lot of members, and I know it’s frustrating, but I feel like a fresh site is exactly what the site needed. Now is the time to get plotting with each other and posting up a storm! Many of you barely scraped by the activity check, so lets take some time to amp up posting, shall we? Also, I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record, but it’s really frustrating that many of our members do not sign into their accounts every day; it takes two seconds and helps us know who’s really dedicated to the site. A good idea for getting more plots (and bringing new members to the site) is to make requests on sites such as Caution or Potterwatch; last night I posted a few and I already have two new plots! I highly encourage all of you to do this—if you have an idea and need help, or would like some help coming up with ideas, shoot me a PM and I’d be more than happy to help you!
On a final note: here is how we’re doing with gender and group ratio; please keep it in mind when making requests or characters. If these trends continue, bans will be put in place and no one wants that.
GENDER We have twice as many females as males (12:6) which is crazy! No one likes an estro-fest.
MEMBER GROUPS We have three Hogwarts-age students. Three!! And none of them are Ravenclaw! Those kids are lonely, please make them some friends!
That’s all guys, thanks for being patient with the activity check, and please PM us if you have any further suggestions or questions, we love to hear from you!
