UPDATE 005. Hey kittens! I hope everyone is doing well! I have a few things for you today; as you can see we have an activity check, but aside from that there are quite a few other important points to be made so stay with me till the end please!
-The first is that I’m interested in doing an In-Character Chat Box. In my experience, such a chatbox gets people more active, it makes finding plots easier, and it’s just fun! However, I’ve never really seen the logic behind having one in a Harry Potter universe (they don’t have chat rooms after all lol). Please send me a PM telling me if you feel that an ICCB would be a nice addition to the site, and if you have any ideas as to what it would represent.
-The second is that I need to see you guys online every day! It takes two seconds to log in, I know I harp on it but it is quite irritating! If you guys can’t start logging in every day, then I am going to privatize the site so that you cannot see posts without logging in.
-The last is VERY IMPORTANT! We now have a BAN ON FEMALE CHARACTERS. We are still 9 to 14, which is crazy. So until things balance out, no more female character applications will be accepted.
Rules of the Activity Check are:
1. You must have an active post for every character you have on the site. This means it must have been posted in within the dates of November 22nd, 2010 to December 6th, 2010 (which, by the way, is the end of the activity check) This means you have one week to get it together.
2. If you have a reason for not being able to post within that time frame, you need to have an away thread posted by December 6th, 2010. Any away threads posted after that will not be considered valid: it takes two seconds to post an away thread and you should still be logging in and reading these things every day. Members who posted an away thread last activity check will not be safe if they post an away thread this activity check.
3. Any new members or people working on apps need to have AT LEAST an unfinished app posted by the end of the activity check (again, December 6th) or you are getting deleted. No exceptions. You can always create a new account if you still want to be a part of the site.
4. You can post an open thread for your active posts. That totally counts. Threads like Owl Posts and such do not, however.
