RON is ;;
--- A JOKESTER ;; There's no denying that Ron loves his fair share of jokes, even if he doesn't mean them all the time. He may not be as funny as George, but spending the year helping him in the joke shop certainly taught him a thing or two. Ron's humour can be described as sarcastic, sardonic, blunt and to the point. This usually leaves his friends in stiches with tears running down their cheeks from laughing so hard, especially when Ron has no clue what he's done to cause such a fuss. But his humour can be a bit harsh at times, as many of his friends have faced. Most of the time he doesn't understand that the joke he has made is harmful to others until they've walked off crying. Other times he has done it on purpose, to get a point across to the more stubborn ones.
--- BRAVE ;; Ron was placed in Gryffindor at Hogwarts, and he chosen rightly so. When placed in danger, he's ready to act to defeat whatever comes his way. It is especially so when a loved one has been put in danger. It seems as though all common sense has disappeared then and he's ready to pounce on whoever comes his way. Even if it's spiders. This puts him in a spot of danger most of the time, because more or less he's going in without a strong head. Just a wand and a big mouth, which gets him into more trouble then it should. But Ron's heart is always in the right spot, no matter what he wants to help whoever whenever, one of the reasons he decided to become an Auror.
--- TEMPERED ;; With red hair comes quite the temper, and there's no denying that Ron isn't like any other Weasley, he can rumble with the best of them. It usually starts with a argument, and Ron hates loosing after all, and forms into a all out war with him red in the face screaming things level-headed Ron would never usually say. Of course, most of these fights are brought out by a certain know-it-all, but that's life. Ron can rant and roar and turn into a all out monster when he lets his temper become the best of him, but usually what he saying does have truth to it, and before he could be just too shy to share it with the person, until they get on his nerves of course.
RON'S patronus is a ;; Jack Russel Terrier
RON'S boggart takes the form of ;; Acromantula.
RON adores ;; Candy, his friends, Chudley Cannons, new things, pranks and jokes, food, the Burrow, family, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and home-cooked meals.
RON abhors ;; Death Eaters, lying, being poor, change, death, spiders, malfoy's, cats, hunger and screams.
Thanks to Harry Potter Wiki, which told me much of Ron's life.
The sixth child of Arthur and Molly Weasley, Ronald Bilius Weasley was born on March 1st, during the height of the First Wizarding War. But of course, Ron wouldn't remember this much since he could barely talk when the Dark Lord was defeated. He grew up a peaceful childhood with his five older brothers and younger sister, learning what he could from his mother and getting teased by his older brothers Fred and George. His arachnophobia occurred when his brothers managed to transfigure his teddy bear into a giant spider. Needless to say he was scarred for life, and never wished to come near a spider ever again.
When he was eleven, like every other wizard, Ron received his letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was extremely nervous due to the fact that his brothers had left a series of traditions that he felt he needed to follow. Each brother had at least become Captain of the Quidditch Team or Head Boy, two highly regarded roles at Hogwarts. And most importantly, everyone was sorted into Gryffindor. Ron felt that if he wasn't sorted into Gryffindor, that he would certainly be shunned by his family. But on the train to Hogwarts, he met the famous Harry Potter, who said he had only just found out he was a wizard. Ron and Harry became fast friends. They also met Hermione Granger, who at the time they didn't particularly like, for she seemed like a know-it-all and rather annoying.
When sorted into Gryffindor with Harry, and Hermione, Ron felt at ease as the school year began. Although, he was a bit nasty to Hermione before Halloween, making fun of her simply because she corrected his pronunciation of a spell. After Harry and Ron saved her from a mountain troll who somehow ended up in the castle, they became friends. When the three found out the Philosopher's Stone was being held in Hogwarts, they all agreed to get it before Snape, the 'evil' potion's master could get to it. After a few gruelling tasks, including facing a Three-Headed-Dog, Devil's Snare and a room full of flying keys, the trio managed to arrive at a giant wizard chess board. Ron took the reigns, having the most knowledge of the game, and sacrificed himself so that Harry could go and get the stone from Professor Quirrel, who turned out to be hiding Voldemort, who Harry defeated once again.
Summer came and Ron hadn't heard from Harry all summer, although he promised to keep in touch. Assuming it was the fault of the Muggle relatives Harry stayed with, he and his twin brother's Fred and George headed to Harry's house to set him free by taking the flying car his father had enchanted. After being chastised by his mother for taking the car and doing such a dangerous thing, Harry was allowed to spend the rest of the summer at the Burrow. When it was time to board the train for school, Harry and Ron couldn't get through the barrier due to the fact that a house elf named Dobby had sealed it, saying that he was protecting Harry from the dangers that would come this year. The boys were forced to take the flying car to Hogwarts, and not only crashed the flying car into the Whomping Willow, but also received severe punishment, almost getting them expelled.
Ron's wand was damaged in the crash and resulted in many problems magically through the year, which included him trying to stick up for Hermione when Draco called her a Mudblood, resulting in him throwing up slugs for a day. This caused the trio to suspect that Draco was the Heir of Slytherin, and that he would open the Chamber of Secrets so that the Basilisk could attack students. To find out, Hermione brewed a complicated potion called the Polyjuice Potion. Ron and Harry were greatly disappointed after transforming into Crabbe and Goyle to find out that Draco was not the Heir. Sometime after this discovery, Hermione was petrified by the monster, leaving Harry and Ron to themselves to solve the mystery.
After a frightening trip into the Forbinned Forest to talk to a Acromantula, Harry and Ron discovered that Ron's younger sister was dying in the Chamber of Secrets. The pair raced to the entrance, only to find their professor of defence against the dark arts that year, Gilderoy Lockhart trying to take all the fame. Unfortunately for Lockhart, he used Ron's broken wand and the spell backfired on him, giving him permanent amnesia. Ron agreed to stay with Lockhart so Harry could save his sister. Harry defeated the Basilisk, the diary which contained Tom Riddle and which was controlling Ginny the whole year, and saved Ginny from her demise.
During this summer, Ron and his family won the Daily Prophet draw and used the money to visit his brother, Bill, in Egypt. He met up with both Harry and Hermione on the last day of August in Diagon Alley, where they spent the night at the Leaky Cauldron so they could board the Hogwart's Express the next day. Because Sirius Black had escaped from Askaban, Dementors became Hogwarts security for the year, something no one seemed to enjoy. Third years were forced to take more classes, so Ron and Harry decided on Divination and Care of Magical Creatures. Hermione took more then thought possible, and her random appearances in every class seemed to freak Ron out. One minute she would be there, the next she wouldn't. The new professor of DADA was Remus Lupin, and Ron believed he was a fine teacher.
That year, Ron and Hermione on Halloween went on their first Hogsmead trip. Harry couldn't join them because he didn't get his permission slip signed by his uncle. Later trips however, Fred and George gave Harry the Marauders Map to use, so he joined his friends at Hogsmead. But it was on his trip, that he found out that Sirius Black, the man who was thought to be out to kill him and that he had sent Voldemort after his parents was his god father. But the key point Ron had in this year was his rat.
His rat, Scabbers, turned out to be a Animagus of Peter Pettigrew. Peter was truly the one who had told Voldemort about the whereabouts of Harry's parents and he was the one who got them killed. After being dragged by a black dog under the Whomping Willow, who turned out to be Sirius Black, Ron had many injures and was forced to sit out while Harry and Hermione went and saved the day for Harry's godfather and Buckbeak, the hippogriff sentenced to death. Since Ron no longer had his pet rat, Sirius sent him an owl. Ginny named him Pigwigeon, because she thought it was cute.
In the summer prior to their fourth year, Ron invited his friends to come with his family to the Quidditch World Cup. While the Cup was a good show, Death Eaters attacked the camp grounds, and by Arthur's orders the trio were sent to the woods to take cover. Draco told them that the Death Eaters were looking for Muggles and Muggleborns. Ron became protective over Hermione, and suggested that they should go deeper into the woods. Spotting the Death Mark in the sky certainly made the night one to remember. At Hogwarts, the school found out that they would be hosting the Triwizard tournament, to Ron's delight since his Quidditch hero Viktor Krum would be attending Hogwarts since he was at Durmstrang.
Ron wanted to enter the contest, despite the age restriction. When Harry had gotten chosen, Ron became very envious of him and his jealous side came out. The two fought and despite Hermione's attempt the rift between them stayed until after the first task, where finally Ron believed Harry didn't do this on purpose. When the Yule Ball arrived, Ron offended Hermione by saying that they should go together, since it was sad if a girl went alone. Instead, he ended going with Padma, where he got ditched because he and Harry were annoyed by the fact that they didn't get to go with the girls they would've liked to go with.
During the second task, Harry had to save Ron from the depths of the Black Lake, but during Harry's third task, he and Hermione cheered from the side lines. When Harry returned with a dead Cedric, saying that The Dark Lord had returned, Ron knew that something terrible was about to happen.
That summer, with the rise of Voldemort, Ron joined the Order of the Phoenix, though he had his friends weren't full members since they were till too young. Ron was surprised to find that he received a position as a Prefect in the beginning of the year, along with Hermione. A ministry official, Dolores Umbridge became the new professor of DADA, and was found to be dreadful and most everybody hated her. Harry, with encouragement from Ron and Hermione, formed Dumbledore's Army, where he taught whoever was willing to fight against Voldemort true defencive spells.
This was the year he first formed his patronus, a Jack Russel Terrier. He was quite pleased, because Hermione still had difficulty producing it. Ron fought alongside his friends during their battle in the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic, where Sirius Black was killed. Although good did prevail, since because of this battle, the Ministry of Magic finally believed that Lord Voldemort had returned, and stopped terrorizing Harry and Dumbledore.
His sixth year was a pretty quick year. Harry and Dumbledore spent a lot of time trying to figure out where Horcruxes could be while Ron and Hermione began to bicker more and more. Especially after the first game, where Ron and Lavender Brown began to date after a heated kiss in front of the whole house. So their fighting turned into Ron not being invited to join the Slug Club and Hermione's hatred towards Lavender. They only sorted it out when Ron was poisoned by a mead meant for Dumbledore and during the time he was knocked out he called for Hermione in his sleep. He only found this out later, for both Hermione and Harry would not say why Hermione seemed to forgive him and Lavender kept shooting him sad looks. They quickly broke up after the incident.
At the end of the year there was another battle, this time it took place at Hogwarts. Dumbledore fell during the battle, and it was Snape who had killed him. Mourning was inevitable at Hogwarts, and a large funeral was held at the school in his honor, where he tried his best to comfort Hermione as much as he could. That summer it was obvious to the trio they wouldn't be returning to Hogwarts. Voldemort took over the ministry and Harry became their number one target. So, the trio apparated and began to plan on getting all the Horcruxes, which would lead them to the demise of Lord Voldemort.
Things got stressful after finding no Horcruxes, and Ron, with the stress of the Locket around his neck, left Harry and Hermione on their own. He was in a bad situation then, and as soon as he left, he regretted it. He wandered about England, apparating when he got into danger, visiting his parents at a safe house once, stayed at his brother Bill's for a bit. But it wasn't until Christmas Eve that he found a way to get back to Harry and Hermione, with the deluminator that Dumbledore had left him. Hermione's voice brought him to the Forest of Dean, where he followed a Doe patronus, which lead to him Harry. The relief of finding his best friend, despite finding him almost drowning, was enough to make him feel at home at that moment. Destroying the locket with the sword of Gryffindor was a hard task, but once it was done, they all felt a little lighter.
After being captured and the death of a dear house elf, they found themselves closer and closer to their goal. Which, led them to Hogwarts, with only three Horcrux to destroy. Nagini, the diadem and another they hadn't been able to figure out. They realized without the sword of Gryffindor to destroy Horcruxs, they needed something to destroy the remaining. So Ron and Hermione scattered to Chamber of Secrets, where Ron managed to get them inside using gibberish he had heard Harry say before. Grabbing an armful of Basilisk fangs, they met up with Harry and Luna who searched for the diadem. This was the moment however, when Ron wondered if they should warn the house elves of what was going on, so they could leave if they wanted to be safe.
Ron didn't expect what was to come next. Hermione dropped everything in her arms and ran full force at him, kissing him like there was no tomorrow. Which, at that point, was possible. Of course Ron wasted no time returning the gesture, only to be interrupted by Harry to remind them there was a war going on. And there was, much happened to end the war in their favor, like the death of Harry. Which, he returned from, because he's Harry Potter after all. But there were many deaths during that war, one that particular destroyed him. The death of his elder brother, Fred Weasley. Still, after two years he wasn't completely over it, having nightmares of his smiling, dead face. Not to mention the screams. It was often that his dreams would entail screams and the faces of the dead. But after the past two years, he was beginning to deal with the fact that nothing would return to normal. He was going to have to live with a new normal.
He had been flying around for twenty minutes or so before he noticed a small figure moving in the Gryffindor Stands. Curious as to who it was, Ron swooped down by the tower and noticed that the figure waved. He smiled once he realized that this wasn't just anyone, that it was Hermione. He gave a wave back, lowering himself down towards her so that she could see him throw his thumb over his shoulder then held out his hand to her, the universal sign to say that he was going back out for a little bit longer and that he wanted her to wait for him. After that he took to the air again, flying off towards the goal posts.
Ron wasn't sure when it was, perhaps after the Yule Ball, that he began to notice a change in Hermione. Her hair became more tame, her face now carried some light make-up and she fixed her teeth. It was like she had yelled to him when he asked her to the Yule Ball, it had taken him three years to notice that she was indeed a girl. It wasn't that actually, it just took him three years to notice how truly pretty she was. But that wasn't something he was about to share with her of course, that could end disastrous. As in, him getting a slap in the face and Harry and him loosing one of their best friends due to awkwardness.
He could tell however, that she did not like Lavender Brown. Lavender had been hanging around Ron a lot lately, complimenting him whenever she got the chance it seemed. Ron didn't mind the attention of course, Lavender was a pretty girl. But Hermione seemed to find every reason to hate the girl. It was true Lavender wasn't the smartest girl in their year, but it still gave no reason for Hermione to hate her so much. So Ron passed it off as Hermione being Hermione, that there nothing out of the ordinary about it. But of course, there was the hopefully feeling that this was Hermione being jealous that Lavender actually had a chance with him, which a the moment was plausible he supposed. But Ron learned not to be hopefully when it came to Hermione, because he doubted she'd ever feel the same for him.
He had been flying around for a little bit longer when he decided to call it a day. He wondered for a moment if he should go get changed then walk up to the stands or just land near by. Deciding he wasn't sure what she wanted he would land down at the stands and see what she was up to. Maybe she just wanted to hang out with him, and that would be nice. Ron enjoyed the week before Harry arrived, most days he and Hermione would hang out for a few hours just the two of them before Ginny came along as well.
Ron landed wobbly at the end of the bleachers, only looking up at Hermione when both feet were firmly on the ground. He gave her a wide smile and brought his broom behind his back before making his way up the few stairs towards Hermione. "Hey 'Mione." he said, his cheeks red from the exercise and cold as he took a seat next to her. He took his helmet off his head and shook his head, hoping for Merlin's sake he didn't have helmet hair. "Whatcha doing out here?" he asked her, for he doubted she knew where he was before walking up to the pitch.
Hey there! I'm WEEGIE. I'm SEVENTEEN, and I've been been role playing for 6 YEARS. I found LMCI through A AD ON UNTIL THE END. My favorite Harry Potter is GOBLET OF FIRE OR DEATHLY HALLOWS.
