Alrighty, so I realize that I'm new and in the process of modifying Katie's application, but I wanted to post this here so that you guys know why I haven't finished it yet. On Friday morning, I walked into school to find a bunch of girls huddled around and in tears. No big deal, someone's boyfriend broke up with them, right? Sadly, it's not. One of the students in the school committed suicide the night before, and it shook not only the school, but about two neighbouring towns to the core. I personally am not as affected by this tragedy because he was not a close personal friend, but the world feels like its moving in slow motion at the moment. I'm trying to be there for friends, all of whom are absolute wrecks at the moment. so I shall be back shortly, and hopefully before my week reservation is up. Thanks for being so understanding!

I am so sorry sweetie! I hope things get a little better for you soon. I was actually in a very similar situation in high school, and it was miserable. My heart goes out to you.

thanks guys, i really do appreciate it. everything's been really weird since friday morning, and all of a sudden i'm not sleeping very well because i'm so focused on trying to help some of my friends gets through this. i hate thinking that anyone else would have to deal with this kind of thing, so it means a lot that you're all so understanding of the situation.
