--- SEEMINGLY INNOCENT ;; While Amelia usually has good intentions (usually, but not always), when first meeting her most people are unaware of her rebellious nature. She is very much so a golden girl on the surface, one that her parents are particularly proud of. However, below the surface, Amelia is one to party, get involved with boys, play a lot of Quidditch and is simply one who seeks the adventure out of life. She has always been an adventurous girl, but she has been tamed over the years by her wealthy and stuck up parents. There's no blaming her when she gets the chance to run wild, as she has been denied of her urge for adventure for many years. Although she has done alot of growing up since the Battle of Hogwarts.
--- LOYAL ;; This young lady has proved to be fiercely loyal to those she cares about and is quite intent on securing their happiness. If someone who she cares about is having a hard time due to the actions of others, Amelia will not hesitate to take action and make sure her opinion is heard. While her loyalty appears to be true, Amelia has been known to slip up sometimes. Whether she takes her loyalty too far or allows her selfish side get the better of her, she is capable of making mistakes like everyone else.
--- IMPULSIVE ;; There's no doubt that Miss Vanderbilt let's her impulsive nature get the best of her. While she has proved to be loyal (even friendly, for an ex-Slytherin) in the past, she also possesses a manipulative, controlling and even selfish side of her personality. Amelia has been spoiled in her lifetime with living a wealthy life with all the luxuries that anyone could ask for. She tends to act before she thinks (although, when she does think she has proved to be quite reasonable). Her impulsiveness is a trait that Amelia knows she has to overcome, however she sometimes forgets this when she is worked up over something.
--- BRAVE ;; Bravery isn't a particular trait that you'd expect Amelia to have. This is mostly due to the fact that she tends to hide it. However, there have been a few occasions where her bravery has shone. For example: When the second war against Voldemort was in action, Amelia found herself rebelling against her Slytherin stereotype in order to help out at the battle of Hogwarts. Her bravery has also shone in a not as grand way where she has simply stood up for a friend.

Amelia Vanderbilt was born into a wealthy, pure-blooded family twenty-two years ago. Tyrant Vanderbilt (her father) had inherited a large fortune that had been passed down through generations within the family. He married Amelie (a young French woman) a few years after he began working for the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. They had met through their parents as her family was a family of wealth as well. They liked each other enough, however they were somewhat pressured into a marriage by their families which added a strain onto their relationship.
Before Amelia, her brother was born. There was a small amount of resentment towards Amelia after that for simply existing, but she soon grew on him and the two of them became quite close as they grew older and realised that their parents didn't given them enough attention to fight over anyway. The Vanderbilt children lived quite a fulfilling life - in the sense that they had all the wealth and luxuries that they could possibly need.
Amelia's brother was sorted into Slytherin at the start of his first year at Hogwarts (which wasn't surprising as their father had been a Slytherin). Amelia soon followed his lead, being pressured to fall into the Slytherin stereotype by her peers (she was a Slytherin, so she must be a bitch right?). During her Hogwarts days, Amelia's grades were quite good. She excelled at Care of Magical Creatures and Defence Against the Dark Arts, while she bombed at Potions. She had been a Chaser on the Slytherin team at one point after she had become obsessed with the sport after getting a taste of it for the first time in her first year when the Hogwarts students were taught how to ride a broomstick.
As soon as Amelia's brother graduated at Hogwarts, he began turning towards the darkside...literally. Her brother did not hold the patience to endure their parents controlling nature like Amelia did. Instead of rebelling by simply breaking the rules, he found himself among the wrong crowd - the Death Eaters, Voldemort's followers. The Vanderbilt family had always been a neutral family that wasn't for or against the Dark Lord. They believed in keeping to their own lives, but were eventually forced to side with Voldemort after he had threatened to murder their family. Because of Tyrant's position at the Ministry, Voldemort needed to be confident in the fact that some of the Ministry workers weren't going work together in order to take him down. The thought had amused Voldemort, but he needed to take precautions during the highest point of his raise to power once more.
During the Battle of Hogwarts, Amelia had made the very brave decision to help fight and take back the school that she had taken for granted over the years. Her father had forbidden her to do so, but she hated feeling helpless when her world around her was crumbling. She had almost lost her life at the Battle of Hogwarts, but it was spared due to the assistance of her brother-gone-death eater when he killed one of his own in order to save his sister.
After the Battle of Hogwarts, Amelia was eager to settle back into her life and work towards the ambitions she had her heart set on. Although her brother had betrayed them, Amelia was still upset when he got sent off to Azkaban for a two year sentence. She got a job at Quality Quidditch Supplies located in Diagon Alley and had learned to take back some of the control her father had over her. She has begun to move on, but would like to see the world and perhaps excel in a career of magical creatures or major league Quidditch.
Gaston sipped his red wine lazily as he watched the forced beauties prance around the stage. His posture and expression could be compared to someone who was sitting in his living room, flipping through the channels on the television in hope of finding something interesting to watch. While other men in the strip club drooled over the strippers, Gaston sat there, expressionless, occasionally nodding curtly at the women that took special interest in him. He had seen it all before and to say that he was bored right now was an understatement.
The young player had certainly been through his share of women. Not much surprised Gaston anymore or turned him on as much it used to. Finding women that intrigued him proved to be difficult now days, thus resorting in him seeking out women in strip clubs. Not his first preference, but hey, he was a man and he most certainly had needs. What hadn't occurred to Gaston yet was that it wasn't his physical needs that needed tending to, it was his emotions. Deep inside was a decent man, longing to have someone that knew him emotionally and mentally. Only when that miracle occurred would Gaston be able to be fully satisfied in the physical manner, when he had someone he could genuinely love and be loved in return.
An aura of power and confidence reflected brightly from the exterior of Gaston. However Gaston constantly found himself attempting to fill the empty void that surrounded his life with sex, partying and money. He would not dare to show any form of weakness. He feared that if he did, the respect and fear that others held for him would vanish off the face of the earth.
Gaston was snapped out of his own little world as he heard his own name, along with his last name at that. No one at Pleasure Island knew his last name, he made sure of it. He turned his torso swiftly to face the owner of the voice, preparing to scold the person that dared use his full name in a place where his reputation was at stake. His mouth froze open before he could speak as his eyes focused on a young woman that looked utterly familiar.
A few moments passed and the sound of the loud music became mere background noise as Gaston realised who the woman was and she certainly wasn't a stripper. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Teresa North." Gaston stated (his version of a greeting) as a smirk coiled onto his lips. Gaston had met Teresa a few times during his childhood and his teen years because their fathers knew one another, it had been years since he had last saw her. Gaston noted to himself that she had developed into a fine young woman. "So this is where you ended up, huh?" Gaston added, teasing. He was fairly certain that Teresa wasn't a stripper. Then again, he barely knew this woman. Who knew what kind of a woman Teresa had become? Not Gaston, that was for sure.
