--- a workaholic ;; Jocelyn work, a lot. Up early for the morning shift and staying late until the later shift or her boss tell, or more like, forces her to leave. She is dedicated to her job and loves working. If someone needs her then she is there and she loves covering all shifts. She drinks coffee constantly and often skips her own meals to make sure patients are healed and the ones that are admitted to staying with her she makes sure they are settled in and are doing okay. Putting herself last is just Joce's way of life. It always has been and most likely always will be
--- stubborn;; Whether it is the Gryffindor in her or just Joce's personality she is a stubborn one. If she can't do it with her own two hands, then it wasn't getting done. Proud, and some would call it idiocy, is a big part of Jocelyn. She is independent and when she wants something done she will get it done, whether it kills her or not. She has always been that way and her dad says that she gets it from her mom's side of the family.
--- protective ;; no one, and she means no one messes with her family. When a threat or something comes into the family, or someone who is close to her she acts. Her twin was hurt in a fight when he was in school she not only healed him she also gave her opinion on the boy who decided to pick a fight with her twin. Sure she was a girl but the stubborn and the protectiveness in her helped not make that matter. Her younger sister was her best friend and no one knew not to mess with her for her sister was very important to her.

Jocelyn's parents, Bronson Forrester and Laine Marks- Forrester were lovers when they attended Hogwarts in their day. Bronson was afraid to tell her that he loved her but he did and now look at them. They are the happiest couple and Bronson, working at the Ministry, supports them. His wife doesn't have to work and stayed home with the kids and tended to them and made sure they had what they needed. Having six kids made quiet a difference on their relationship, but only for the better. Sure they have their arguments, every couple has them, but they make it through it and always will. They were serious about their wedding vows when they took them, Til Death Do Us Part would be honored.
The first child to be blessed into the Forrester family was Boone Forrester. As he grew up he came to be just like his father, something that made Bronson very happy. With Bronson the Ministry was the biggest deal to him and he fully supported the Ministry. Ministry or bust no other job would take care of his family, and establish them in the magical world. None of the nonsense Quidditch and muggle jobs would be the best to take care of a family, no ministry was the way to go.
The twins, Jocelyn and Collin were the next to come into the world. Collin was a whole two and a half minutes ahead of her and never let her forget it. Collin and Joce, being twins, were incredibly close to each other and told each other everything. They depended on one another for support and it was always given. Sharing secrets, the blame for their misbehaving, just typical twin stuff.
The next to come into the family was Grayson Forrester, the big disappointer in the family according to their father. Grayson was more into art, photography, muggle stuff and wanted nothing to do with the Ministry. He learned at a young age to just brush off the Ministry and nod and agree in all the right places but really he could care less. He mastered early the art of selective hearing and controlling his facial expressions. He and Bronson fought all the time over it so staying at the school during the holidays and avoiding him as much as possible during the school year seemed to be the way to go.
Lorena Forrester came next, and she was the Forrester family upset. Lorena, rather on the crazy side, she believes that she see "visions" her dad doesn't believe it in the slightest. She is a bit on the odd side but she is Lorena and her sister loves her and always wants to be there for her and the guy talks that she has with her is very special. Lorena would be Lorena and to Jocelyn that was good enough for her.
The last child to become a part of the Forrester family was Keaton Forrester. Keaton growing up was in his own world and even now he doesn't really know what he wants to be or who he wants to follow. Still becoming a part of his own and determining what he wants to do. Jocelyn wants him to follow his dreams and not let their dad try and get him to go into the Ministry if he didn't want to. Keaton being the youngest, had all of his siblings to come to for help with anything and they all usually were there for each other.
Jocelyn growing up always wanted to be a healer at St. Mungos. The Ministry wasn't for her and she had been a student nurse at the Hospital Wing from her very first year. (not sure if they did or not I can take that part out if needed and come up with a different part). Oddly enough a job as a healer was a respectable job for her father and though it wasn't the Ministry, it was important and respectable so she wasn't given the choice to chose her career that she wanted or her families approval.
Being a purebood and her father able to quite well take care of his children Jocelyn didn't have many things she didn't get. Sure she was told to work for them and did chores, the muggle way in order to earn the money, so she could be taught responsibility and the hard earned money that came with working. She had her moments when she got into with her parents but she was a typical child if she did everything her parents said would she?
When she arrived her 1st year taking the magical boats across the lake and seeing the school she would spend the next seven years of her magical education Jocelyn was excited. She was looking forward to all her classes and anxious to see what house she was sorted in. The hat debated for a few minutes on her. In the end Gryffindor won out for her, her twin sorted into Hufflepuff without her. Her dad told her in her very first owl post from Hogwarts that it was because she had the stubbornness that was Gryffindor.
Still she didn't let being away from her brother deter her she merely spent time with him when she could. She loved all her classes, and loved working with the nurses in the hospital wing. It was fascinating how they healed something so easily and reduced it to nothing really. No evidence of what just happened in most cases. She loved potions and transfiguration but wasn't the greatest at History of Magic, the subject seemed to bore her worse than others, so sometimes she fought her demons to stay awake.
Potions, was her favorite class but was a bit difficult considering Professor Snape was their potions master and she was a Gryffindor but she managed, somewhat surprising to even her, to get decent marks. She didn't expect praise for a job well done but her marks were all that mattered, she just wanted to do great in the subject. She helped her brother in any potions homework and he helped her in anything she was struggling with.
It was the night of her graduation that things got sour. Her brother and her had just graduated Hogwarts when her life was aburptly changed. Her dad and brother left to talk, or argue she guessed, but he never came back. Joce never knew what had happened that night and her brother only shortly told her. While Jocelyn was entering a respectable field Collin decided to play Professional Quidditch a job that never suited Bronson. He hated the idea and apparently had given him the ultimatum go into a respectable job or get out, he chose to get out and ran. He and Joce bumped into each other when he was in London one day and they caught back up and he explained all that happened. It rankled her badly that her father would do something like that, but didn't shock her. She vowed that when Grayson graduated he would be sure of a home if the same conversation happened to him.
Now she didn't have everything easy herself without her twin. Her seventh year she started dating this guy and he seemed sweet to her. He was a bit perverted at times, but that was hormones right? He accepted her issue with her brother leaving and when she started working they lived together for a while in his apartment. Then he changed. It was subtle at first a bit more grumpy and demanding then ever. He was more demanding in the bedroom and to a point Joce was losing the excitement and enjoyment of it. They would attend events variously together and he would be very open about they were dating. A dance would turn into him trying to get his hands all down her dress in public and he would get hateful when she told him to stop, that they were in public. He would see a guy looking at her and kiss her, not sweetly, more like "marking her."
Then they were at a charity event one night she was wearing a purple criss crossed back dress. She felt pretty and he didn't say a word when she asked so she just told herself it was okay and they left. Running into people they knew, and Jocelyn knew from work, their were males she was friends with. Her boyfriend seemed to be in a sour mode and every time she finished a conversation with them he would ask, sometimes not waiting until the guy was out of ear shot, if she had had sex with him too. When she asked him what his issue with her was he said very calmly, "When you dress like a slut its natural to be curious at how slutty you are." Needless to say they didn't stay much longer. When she arrived home she was finished. She didn't like being called a slut like that, and he hadn't even said a word about her dress before she left in it. That she assumed was her fault.
They got into a big fight at first just words, slut, whore, c*nt, b*tch being spoken like most people say you, she, her. Then he slapped her across the face. Her temper shooting up higher he straightened back from his blow and took her own hit and then turned to head to her room, she was done it was over. Not just yet it wasn't. Grabbing the criss cross part of her dress he ripped it yanking her back and held her in his arms she couldn't struggle out, she wasn't strong enough and didn't have her wand on her. He whispered in her ear, "You f*cking b*tch who do you think you are you slut." His voice had a level of danger higher than she had ever detected and she got scared and went limp just wanting to get the hell of there. She wasn't able to concentrate enough to apparate and with him holding her she would just take him with her. She tried kneeing him in the groin to escape but it didn't work instead she was dragged into the bedroom, her dress coming off as she walked from it being ripped. Instead of being attacked, Jocelyn instead was marked. Pinning her down both using his wand and his own body weight Jocelyn was forced to lay helplessly as the letters S L U T was carved into her stomach, deeply carved in her stomach. Then he just left popped away and left. When seh figured out how to get free she crawled away to her wand healed herself the best she could and packed her stuff and left. They haven't saw each other since that day, and Joce doesn't want to. He made her question herself and feel worthless about herself. She started having nightmares with him cutting that into her again, and then some how they transferred to her loved ones. She had been chased and went to a loved on for protection and they were getting decapitated one by one. She seen her parents, then her twin, her sister...so on it went until there was no one left it was just Jocelyn all alone and he was getting closer. It was enough to scare her to death.
Kirsten was doing pretty darn good actually. Minus the flu or whatever she had gotten as of lately that she was now over, luckily. Solid foods came up and liquids went through her both ways, either way it was unpleasant. Now though she was doing better. Which was good considering that she was so tired of worrying Grayson. She loved him so much that anything that worried him about her made her feel guilty. He said so himself that he had stayed up a few nights worrying over her. That and when she was sick she was reliant on him for a bit more than usual. She didn't dare go get herself something to eat so he brought her some chicken noodle soup, something that seemed to help her raging stomach. Her fever and chills seemed to take a little longer to control but soon she was feeling better, better that she ate more than soup, and it stayed in her stomach rather well actually. Grayson could stop his worrying and she would be able to kiss him and allow him to feel more relaxed about her.
Dressed simply, and comfortably, in comfy pants, a tank top with a hoodie over it her hair thrown in a messy ponytail she made her way to Grayson's room. She had been sick so she wasn't allowed to do anything but sleep and read on occasion. Now though she needed to go through her mail that most likely contained her new clients requests, something she was running behind on.
Finding them in a neat spot in Grayson's room she plopped down on the bed and flipped through them. A few of them she recognized and two of them were cards from her happy customers and she smiled as she read them. Getting to an unmarked Muggle envelope with just her name on it Kirsten stopped. The handwriting wasn't that of her mom parents and she always got the letters from her store addressed to Fashion Forever cc Ms. Kirsten Montez. Setting the others down she turned the envelope over and slid her finger under it opening it, ignoring that churning feeling in her stomach. It was that oh no feeling that rarely gave good news.
Unfolding the notebook paper Kirsten read the letter and let out a shriek of outright fear. It was him...he found her. She knew this would happen! SHE KNEW IT! Oh no oh no oh no what was she going to do? What was she going to tell Grayson. She needed to move out now! She couldn't let him find her. That would put the Forresters in danger. "HE FOUND ME...HE FOUND ME." She screamed as she reread the letter tears streaming down her face her hands trembling. No this couldn't happen, she wasn't safe now, no one was. She didn't know what to do and at that moment she couldn't do anything but rock herself back and forth the letter in her hand the words running in her mind.
