How many characters can I have?

You may have as many characters as you can manage to keep active. Just remember to be reasonable. Don't take every main character or everyone in one family. Try to have some kind of balance between male and female. We all need to share the love. Besides, what fun would it be to plot with yourself?

Can I play an original character?

Of course! We welcome your made-ups into our plots. However, your original character cannot take a role already filled by a canon. For example, you cannot have a Quidditch player from Gryffindor from any time during the books. Also, not everyone's a veela, werewolf, or animagus. You're free to have a character who's one of those things, but we don't want half the Hogwarts class to be them.

Can I post an incomplete application?

Yes. You'll have one week to complete it, or it will be moved to the 'abandoned' board. If you come back and still want to join, just contact an admin and we'll move it back.

Why hasn't anyone read my app yet?

The staff try their best to get to the apps in the most timely manner. If your app has been complete for more than three days, you may contact an admin to let them know. It's possible we've just missed it, especially if you posted an incomplete app. However, please don't spam us with requests.

My application is pending. What does that mean?

We're real big on second chances here an LMCI. If we believe your character is capable of being accepted, we'll ask you to revise your application and provide as many suggestions as we can. You'll have a week to confirm that you're still interested and a week to revise your application. After you're done, please let us know. It's not always easy to tell if an app is done.

Why was my account deleted when I was denied?

For the sake of neatness. Honestly. You're absolutely free to re-register and try again. The staff will try to explain why you were not accepted, but if you are still uncertain, please don't hesitate to contact one of them and ask.

I still have some questions. Who do I ask?

Feel free to contact an admin through PM, email, or instant message if you're still confused about anything. Sometimes, other members will be able to help, too, so don't be afraid to ask!

Are there any bans in place?

Please check our most recent updates before making your application to see if we have any bans on character genders, types, or ages.
